Very dry year which forced us to pick slightly earlier than normal as vines were under immense stress
Aged in 1 year old and older APJ American Oak Hogsheads
A challenging year delivers a Granite Belt Durif from left of field. Severe drought forced the early picking and production of this wine. This has resulted in a lifted red berry fruit nose and intense red/purple colour. The palate is fresh and racy, almost joven like but full of flavor non the less.
