2018 Tempranillo Gran Reserva
This Tempranillo was produced using fruit from our oldest block situated on the north facing slope of the estate by third generation winemaker RayCostanzo and represents his 20 years exoerience with producing and working with this majestic Spanish Variety.
From the exceptional 2018 vintage this parcel of fruit was partially whole bunch fermented before being pressed to two Americal oak hogshead barrels for maturation for 36 months. Bottled under cork and carefully aged for a further 24 months prior to release.
A big, bold wine with powerful fruit, oak and chalky tannins in unison and balanced by the unique Granite Belt mineral acidity.
