An extraordinarily vibrant full bodied wine with intense purple hues and a deep cherry red appearance. The nose is full of ripe red berry fruits with a touch of Blackberry and cedar oak. The palate is full of sweet ripe fruit, plush chalky tannins and that characteristic crisp Barbera acidity. An exceptional wine from an exceptional vintage which will see it live for up to 10 years.

Low cropping clean fruit. Great natural acidity. Perfect!!!
Co fermented with 11% Durif. This not only adds to the colour but the tannin in the Durif stabilizes the colour of the low tannin variety.
Food Pairing Notes
Simple is Best with Barbera. A simple tomato based pasta dish with fresh herbs is a great match.
